Evening Mail (May 27, 1828): 2.

A most splendid dinner was given yesterday by N. M. Rothschild, Esq. at his house, facing the Green Park. The company present were, Prince Esterhazy, Prince Pucklau, Count Molekle, Duke and Duchess of Gordon, Duchess of Richmond, Dowager Marchioness of Salisbury, Countess of Essex, Count and Countess of Danchald, the Lord and Lady Mayoress, the Count Reden, Lady Coventry, and Lord Deerhurst. After dinner a grand concert took place, assisted by Mademoiselle Sontag, Madame Pasta, Madame Mora, Signor Velluti, and Moschelles.

MR. AND MRS. DE ROTHSCHLD’S PARTIES.

On Monday last, Mr. ROTHSCHILD gave a Grand Entertainment in Piccadilly to :—

Prince Paul Esterhazy, the Duke and Duchess of Gordon, Dowager Duchess of Richmond, Prince Puckler Muskav, Lord Strangford, Countess of Essex, Vicount [sic] and Vicountess [sic] D’Anshald, Countess Dowager of Powlett, the Lord and Lady Mayorness, the Danish Minister, (Count Moltke), Count Rederne, Countess of Coventry, and Vicount Deerhurst, Mrs. and Miss Arbuthnot, and Lady Sophia Lennox.

In the evening there was a Concert of Vocal and Instrumental Music, at which assisted Mademoiselle SONTAG. 

There were present—

The Duke and Duchess of St. Albans, Lady and Miss Gordon, General and Mrs. Gascoigne, Colonel Wortley and Mrs. Stuart Wortley, Dowager Lady Floyd, Lady Caroline Dundas, Countess of Listowell, Lords Berehaven and Ennismore, Lady and Miss Hamilton, Lady Manners, Mrs. and Miss Williams Wynn, Captain Ogle, Lady Donoughmore, and Mrs. Malcolm.

MR. AND MIRS. DE ROTHSCHILD’S PARTIES.—On Monday last, Mr. Rothschild gave a grand entertainment. In the evening there was a concert of vocal and instrumental music, at which assisted Mademoiselle Sontag.
